Regarding the Coronavirus:
At McCormick Trucking, first and foremost, we value our employees and want to maintain a safe workplace and encourage practices protecting the health of our employees and their families. In light of the current spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) we are taking steps to address the situation and will provide updates based on the continuous
changes that public health officials make regarding the pandemic.
We ask all employees to cooperate in taking steps to reduce the transmission of viruses in the workplace through good hygiene practices and communication with management/HR. To keep everyone safe, we ask:
To prevent the spread of viruses, follow these good hygiene practices:
o Cover your mouth with a tissue whenever you sneeze or cough.
o Sanitize or wash your hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds.
o Wear gloves while loading or unloading.
o Keep your truck wiped down and clean – anything you bring in, take back out.
Please stay home and call your supervisor or HR if you or a member of your household are experiencing a fever and/or flu-like symptoms. Provide as much notice as possible to indicate your symptoms and plans to be absent.
We request that you wait until you are fever or flu-like symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning-to-work. If you are out of work due to the symptoms noted above, you must call and speak with the corporate office and your immediate supervisor to give you clearance to return to work.
